The day has finally arrived! We have new counters. They are soapstone, with white, quartzy green and light grey veining. The indentation you see in the counter on the bottom is for eggs. Pretty clever, huh? Now that we feel like we're on a roll with this kitchen project, we may continue on with tile and paint this weekend. Hopefully this spring it will all be done.
